About The Position

Path Light Pro is seeking a full-time Residential Energy Home Inspector, also described in the posting as a Quality Assurance and Energy Specialist. The position conducts energy assessments and construction-quality evaluations at newly constructed residential sites. It offers in-house training, independent field work, travel opportunities, and work outdoors. No previous experience is required. The role supports clients by helping ensure homes meet energy code requirements and construction quality standards.

Requirements

No previous experience is required; all training is conducted in-house.
Must be able to work outdoors in all types of weather.
Strong attention to detail.
Must be able to walk up and down inclines and on uneven land or ground.
Must have dependable transportation.
Must be hardworking and have a teachable personality.
Must be a positive team player.
Must be able to travel and work at remote sites.
Must have full range of mobility in the upper and lower body and be able to reach overhead.
Must be able to lift up to 30–40 pounds frequently throughout the workday if necessary.
Must be able to walk, stop, stand, bend, sit, kneel, and squat for extended periods.
Must be able to lift, pull, and push materials and equipment to complete assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

Conduct construction site evaluations for energy assessment and construction quality.
Maintain positive working relationships with clients.
Complete site evaluation documentation in electronic systems and onsite energy code compliance forms.
Communicate construction quality issues and energy code requirements to client onsite personnel.
Communicate promptly and professionally with the immediate supervisor and clients to support efficient operations.
Identify solutions to improve the quality of newly constructed houses in accordance with energy code requirements.
Travel to and work at remote sites.
