No Shorts Electric is a 5 Star Leading residential electrical contractor serving the Long Island area. We take pride in delivering clean, professional work and an exceptional customer experience — and we're looking for a skilled electrician who shares those same values. No Shorts Electric has been a licensed electrical contractor in Nassau County for over 35+ years ago. We are a locally owned, family-run business focused on building long-term relationships with our neighbors in the Nassau County and Suffolk communities. Our team of electrical contractors are knowledgeable in every aspect of commercial and residential electrical services and provide expert craftsmanship. When available we do our best to offer same-day service to our clients. If we can’t get an electrician out right away, we will schedule you in the first slot available for service.
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential electrical work
- Strong troubleshooting skills — you can diagnose a dead circuit efficiently and accurately
- Experience with service upgrades and panel replacements
- Clean, detail-oriented work habits — we take pride in how our jobs look
- Excellent customer service skills — you're professional, friendly, and respectful in customers' homes
- Well-groomed and professionally presented at all times
- Ability to work with others
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently and manage your time on the job
- References required
Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting and repairing non-working circuits in residential homes
- Performing electric service upgrades
- Panel replacements and installations
- Wiring and rewiring residential properties
- Diagnosing electrical issues and communicating findings clearly to homeowners
- Maintaining a clean, organized jobsite at all times
