About The Position

Tin Man Heating & Cooling is seeking an Electrical Apprentice who takes pride in delivering quality workmanship and continually developing trade skills. The apprentice performs residential electrical service and maintenance work, troubleshooting, inspections, and installations under the guidance of licensed electricians as needed. The position is dispatched from home and is listed as full-time. The description lists pay of $25.00–$35.00+ per hour based on experience, and separately lists a posted pay range of $20.00–$30.00 per hour.

Requirements

3–4 years of electrical apprenticeship experience.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
Active Apprentice Electrician registration/license as required by state or local regulations.

Responsibilities

Perform residential electrical service, maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting under the guidance of licensed electricians as needed.
Diagnose common residential electrical issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
Assist with installing, repairing, and replacing electrical wiring, outlets, switches, fixtures, panels, and related equipment.
Conduct electrical safety inspections and preventative maintenance.
Ensure work complies with local codes and company standards.
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
Deliver exceptional customer service and educate homeowners about electrical system needs and recommendations.
Complete required paperwork and job documentation accurately.
