About The Position

We are looking for a motivated and eager Electrical Apprentice who is ready to build a career in the electrical trade. We are looking for someone with integrity, a strong work ethic, and a drive to learn and grow. As an Electrical Apprentice, you will work under the supervision of a licensed electrician to assist with the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems. Requirements

Enrolled in or willing to enroll in the Mid Oregon IEC electrical apprenticeship program
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a variety of conditions, including heights, tight spaces, and outdoors
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team
Must pass a background check and drug screening

Nice To Haves

Basic knowledge of electrical systems is a plus

Responsibilities

Assist with the installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures
Follow blueprints, electrical codes, and safety regulations
Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
Assist licensed electricians with troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs
Learn and develop electrical skills through on-the-job training and classroom instruction
Follow company policies and safety procedures
Provide professional and courteous service to customers
