About The Position

UCP Heartland is seeking compassionate and committed Residential DSP's (Direct Care Professional) for a full-time position in Oakville. This role offers a positive, team-driven work environment with a starting pay of $21.00/hour. As a DSP (Direct Care Provider), you will provide physical assistance with daily tasks, assist with personal hygiene, and facilitate fun activities. You will also follow medical orders, administer medications, assist with ADL's, and perform lifts and transfers. A key part of this role is providing choices to clients for their daily activities, entertainment, and community outings. Requirements

High School diploma or its equivalent (GED)
Valid Driver's license
Clean Driving Record and successfully completes and maintains assigned drivers training
A MINIMUM OF ONE WEEKEND SHIFT PER WEEKEND
Experience supporting individuals with disabilities or in a customer service field
Ability to take direction and work with minimal supervision
Ability to consistently work in a professional, cooperative manner with all Agency clients and personnel
Ability to interact with client's family often
Good written and oral communication skills
Computer Proficiency
Reliable transportation
5-7 days of mandatory training at our corporate office Monday through Friday 8:45 AM - 4:15 PM
