About The Position

UCP Heartland is seeking compassionate and committed Residential DSP's (Direct Care Professional) for the following Shift. UCP Heartland offers a positive, team driven, work environment at $21.00/Hour. As a DSP (Direct Care Provider) your work will make a difference in people’s lives 365 days a year! ALL UCP HEARTLAND SCHEDULES/SHIFTS ARE AWAKE SHIFTS.

Requirements

• High School diploma or its equivalent (GED).
• Valid Drivers’ license
• Clean Driving Record and successfully completes and maintains assigned drivers training
• A MINIMUM OF ONE WEEKEND SHIFT PER WEEKEND
• Experience supporting individuals with disabilities or in a customer service field
• Ability to take direction and work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to consistently work in a cooperative manner with all Agency clients and personnel.
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Computer Proficiency

• Reliable transportation
• 5-7 days of mandatory training at our corporate office Monday through Friday 8:45 AM - 4:30PM

Responsibilities

• Provide physical assistance with daily tasks, assist with personal hygiene and facilitate fun activities.
• Follow medical orders and administer medications.
• Provide choices to the clients for their daily activities to provide entertainment and community outings.
