About The Position
Waste Connections is hiring a Local Garbage Truck Driver at its site in Pflugerville, Texas. The driver works with another driver on specified residential routes to collect solid waste and transport it to appropriate disposal sites. The position is physically demanding and involves taking turns working on the back of the garbage truck as part of a driver/driver team. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with a 6:00 a.m. start time. Employees typically work 10 or more hours per day, with overtime pay. Requirements
- Class A or B CDL.
- Clean driving record.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to lift 65 pounds throughout a 10+ hour shift.
