About The Position

The DH Pace Company, an industry leader in door distribution, installation, maintenance, and repair, is seeking Residential Door Installers for its Overhead Door Company of Atlanta™ division. This role involves installing a variety of residential garage doors and operating systems. The company is hiring both experienced installers and trainees. DH Pace is a family-owned business with over 60 offices across the continental United States, celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2026. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Requirements

• Ability to lift 75 pounds over your head.
• Minimum of 1-3 years of construction experience required.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Customer Service oriented.
• Hands-on training provided.
• Successful completion of employment verifications, background check, drug screen, and driving record (if applicable) required in advance of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Mechanical, carpentry or service industry experience a plus.
• Background in construction labor, carpentry, installing and servicing products, and mechanic experiences.
• Experience in construction, as a general laborer, maintenance, handyman, mechanically included experience, service technician, installer, carpenter, mechanic, assembly worker, or any skilled trade.

Responsibilities

• Install a wide range of residential garage doors and operating systems independently.
• Provide professional installation services for homeowners and homebuilders.
• Track and maintain job-related paperwork and submit it in a timely manner.
• Operate in a safety-conscious manner at all times while performing job duties.
