About The Position

New Haven, a leading residential treatment center, is seeking a passionate Residential Director to make a difference in the lives of adolescent girls. This role is ideal for individuals studying or with a background in psychology, social work, behavioral science, or a related field. New Haven serves adolescent girls (ages 13–17) and their families through trauma-informed, relationship-based care. Our campuses in Spanish Fork and Saratoga Springs offer a warm, home-like setting that blends therapeutic support with accredited academics. Our focus areas include trauma recovery, family systems, emotional regulation, and mental health.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Must pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build healthy relationships.
• Skilled in de-escalation, CPR, and First Aid.
• Able to model and teach positive values.

Nice To Haves

• 2 years of experience in a residential treatment center or similar environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage mentors and supervisors in your house, fostering a supportive and effective team.
• Recognize employees for exceptional work and delegate responsibilities.
• Collaborate with HR to hire the best talent, provide thorough orientation for new hires, and offer ongoing training.
• Conduct regular evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and discipline staff as needed.
• Join weekly treatment team meetings, conduct safety drills, manage budgets, and ensure your house is clean and welcoming.
• Keep parents updated on their child's progress, needs, and expectations through frequent communication.
• Execute treatment team decisions to ensure the best therapeutic outcomes for our students.
