About The Position

Bay-CSS is seeking a dedicated Residential Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support individuals with disabilities in a residential setting in Leonardtown, Maryland. The schedule is Thursday and Friday from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m., and Saturday from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., followed by an overnight shift from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. Candidates must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation and car insurance, be able to pass a background check, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and car insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with disabilities during non-traditional hours, including meal preparation, personal hygiene, and household chores.
• Provide emotional support and companionship during evening and overnight shifts.
• Encourage residents' independence and help them develop life skills.
• Document and report changes in residents' behavior or health.
• Follow individual care plans and ensure residents' well-being.
• Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
