About The Position
CRJ is seeking compassionate and dependable Residential Counselors to join their growing team and support individuals. This is a part-time, 24-hours/week, non-exempt position located in West Boylston, MA. The role is eligible for benefits and starts at $18/hr. It offers valuable training for career advancement and professional development.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver's license and reliable transportation
- Desire to make a genuine difference in the lives of others
- Must pass required certifications in the allotted time set forth by the agency
- Must pass a criminal and driver's check
Responsibilities
- Supervise and transport clients during assigned hours, including job interviews, medical appointments, weekly recreation, religious services, and shopping trips.
- Support and teach clients new skills, focusing on goals in their Individual Service Plan.
- Act as a positive role model to help clients achieve the highest quality of life while ensuring their safety.
- Administer medications and complete timely documentation, such as progress notes, weekly summaries, and attendance records.
