About The Position
CRJ is seeking compassionate and dependable Residential Counselors to join their growing team and support individuals. This is a full-time, 32-hours/week, non-exempt position located in Orange, MA. The role is eligible for benefits and offers a starting rate of $18/hr. Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver's license and reliable transportation
- Desire to make a genuine difference in the lives of others
- Must pass required certifications within the agency's allotted time
- Must pass a criminal and driver's check
Responsibilities
- Supervise and transport clients during assigned hours, including for job interviews, medical appointments, weekly recreation, religious services, and shopping trips.
- Support and teach clients new skills aligned with their Individual Service Plan goals.
- Act as a positive role model to help clients achieve the highest quality of life while ensuring their safety in all settings.
- Administer medications and complete required documentation promptly, including progress notes, weekly summaries, and attendance records.
