About The Position

The Residential Coordinator will coordinate and provide guidance, counseling, and encouragement to clients. This role involves assisting the Manager with the daily operations of the site and direct service staff, and implementing and documenting client progress in accordance with individualized rehabilitation service plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Social Sciences, healthcare or a related field and 2-3 years of relevant experience in the Behavioral Health field; or any combination of experience, education or training that would provide the level of knowledge, skill and ability required.
  • Good communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Some knowledge of Behavioral Health systems and supports.
  • Requires the ability to lift, carry, fold, kneel, reach, stack, stoop and bend which may include direct intervention with residents.
  • Possess manual dexterity and fine motor skills.
  • May require crisis intervention in emergency situations.
  • May be required to report to work during emergencies, including inclement weather.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior supervisory experience, helpful.
  • May be required to possess a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record (contingent upon facility location, client and program needs).
