About The Position

Residential Coordinator (IDD Services) About the Role Are you an organized, detail-oriented leader with a passion for supporting the IDD (Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities) community? As our Residential Coordinator, you will be the administrative backbone and quality champion for our residential sites. You will ensure our homes remain safe, compliant, and deeply supportive environments for our participants. Reporting directly to the Program Manager, this is an exempt position where your oversight directly impacts the quality of life, health, and happiness of the individuals we serve.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in the IDD field.
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • A High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Must be 18 years of age with a high school diploma/GED, or be at least 21 years old.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with participants, families, and team members.
  • Ability to confidently manage detailed electronic documentation, state databases, and timelines.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Reliable personal vehicle.
  • Active car insurance.
  • Physical ability to demonstrate and perform daily operational duties.

Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned caseload by driving quality assurance, training staff, and maintaining excellent communication.
  • Conduct monthly medication and documentation monitoring.
  • Perform quarterly home assessments and verify emergency drill compliance.
  • Manage weekly billing reviews.
  • Audit, correct, and submit critical records (including E-MARS, tracking logs, and incident reports via MWMA) to the Quality Assurance team by monthly deadlines.
  • Deliver orientation and ongoing training to Family Home Providers (FHPs) and Relief Workers.
  • Actively participate in Person-Centered Plan of Care meetings.
  • Conduct risk investigations.
  • Maintain open communication with guardians and case managers.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for the Life Works Residential program, including providing after-hours assistance for medical needs.
