The Crisis Residential Treatment (CRT) is a short-term voluntary residential facility designed to help adults aged 18-59 experiencing a psychiatric crisis safely stabilize, recover, and transition back to the community. Services include: 24/7 program, Therapeutic and mental health services, Rehabilitation and recovery services (including substance use rehabilitation), Pre-vocational or vocational counseling, Medication evaluation and support services, Daily exercise and health/wellness education.
Requirements
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must possess a valid CA driver's license and maintain a driving record that meets the company driver eligibility policy
- Applicants must have attained the age of 18 years of age
- Minimum of one (1) year of full-time experience performing non-professional, consumer-directed services in mental health, health care, or social service agency
- SERV Safe Food Handler Certification
Nice To Haves
- One (1) year of dietary experience in a hospital, skilled nursing care facility, or other related medical facility is preferred
- Knowledge of and experience preparing therapeutic diets is preferred
Responsibilities
- Coaching clients with their Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
- Preparing meals, and snacks
- Shopping for food
- Assisting with and supervising meal preparation by current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations
- Ensuring that all safety regulations are followed, and the facilities are maintained safely and cleanly
- Assisting with client laundry, household cleaning and other tasks as needed
- Performing a variety of tasks to ensure that the facility is in a clean, orderly, sanitary and attractive condition
