The Crisis Residential Treatment (CRT) is a short-term voluntary residential facility designed to help adults aged 18-59 experiencing a psychiatric crisis safely stabilize, recover, and transition back to the community. Requirements

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must possess a valid CA driver's license and maintain a driving record that meets the company driver eligibility policy
  • Applicants must have attained the age of 18 years of age
  • Minimum of one (1) year of full-time experience performing non-professional, consumer-directed services in mental health, health care, or social service agency.
  • SERV Safe Food Handler Certification

Nice To Haves

  • One (1) year of dietary experience in a hospital, skilled nursing care facility, or other related medical facility is preferred.
  • Knowledge of and experience preparing therapeutic diets is preferred.
  • Ability to physically assist in lifting and carrying food service supplies and equipment without restriction.

Responsibilities

  • This position has primary responsibility for coaching clients with their Activities of Daily Living (ADLs); preparing meals, and snacks, shopping for food, and other various life skills.
  • Assist with and supervise meal preparation by current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations.
  • Ensure that all safety regulations are followed, and the facilities are maintained safely and cleanly.
  • Assist with client laundry, household cleaning and other tasks as needed.
  • This position performs a variety of tasks to ensure that the facility is in a clean, orderly, sanitary and attractive condition.
