About The Position
Con App Inc. is a growing drywall and paint contractor serving VA, MD, PA, WV & DE. We are seeking experienced Residential New Construction Painters to join our production team. Painters may work independently, alongside another painter, or as part of a larger crew depending on production needs.
Requirements
- Previous painting experience required.
- Proficiency using standard paint brushes and rollers.
- Knowledge of basic surface preparation and paint application.
- Ability to produce clean, consistent coverage and correct defects.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and communication.
- Strong attention to quality, cleanliness, and safety.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required.
Nice To Haves
- Residential new construction painting experience strongly preferred.
- Experience with gas or electric airless paint sprayers
- Residential spray application
- Staining and finishing oak handrails or stair treads
- Minor drywall patching, point-up, and sanding
- Homeowner pre-settlement touch-up and punch work
Responsibilities
- Prepare residential surfaces and apply paint using brushes and rollers.
- Maintain clean lines, consistent coverage, and quality workmanship.
- Protect floors, windows, cabinets, fixtures, and other finished surfaces.
- Identify and correct paint defects and surface imperfections.
- Perform touch-up, punch, and final correction work.
- Complete paint work for homes approaching homeowner pre-settlement inspections.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas.
- Safely operate and care for painting tools and equipment.
- Work independently or effectively as part of a painting crew.
- Follow company safety procedures and jobsite requirements.
