We're looking for a Residential Construction Foreman who can lead field crews, coordinate day-to-day jobsite activities, and help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to Pinemar's standards.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of residential construction experience
  • Previous experience as a Foreman, Lead Carpenter, Crew Lead, or similar field leadership role
  • Strong understanding of rough and finish carpentry methods and techniques
  • Working knowledge of trades involved in custom home construction and renovation
  • Strong understanding of residential construction methods and sequencing
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and details
  • Proven ability to lead field crews
  • Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work professionally with clients, subcontractors, architects, designers, and project team members
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a growth mindset
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record
  • Reliable vehicle

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with custom residential construction or major renovations
  • Experience working alongside Superintendents on complex residential projects
  • Basic proficiency with field documentation or digital construction tools
  • OSHA 30 training preferred

Responsibilities

  • Execute daily work plans in alignment with project schedules, drawings, specifications, and company standards
  • Lead and direct company field staff, assign tasks, monitor progress, and set expectations for workmanship, professionalism, and safety
  • Provide day-to-day field leadership, monitor work progress, and ensure crews have the direction and resources needed to keep projects moving
  • Coordinate day-to-day activities with subcontractors and trade partners
  • Confirm material availability, tool readiness, and site logistics
  • Communicate daily progress, challenges, and project needs to the Superintendent
  • Help maintain project schedules through proactive planning and execution
  • Inspect work in progress and completed work for quality and accuracy
  • Identify deficiencies early and help ensure corrective action is taken to prevent rework
  • Maintain clean, organized, professional, and hazard-free jobsites
  • Enforce jobsite safety policies and procedures
  • Mentor less-experienced field team members and help develop their skills
