About The Position

The Residential Concierge assists in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc. Responds to all residents' requests in an accurate and timely manner making recommendations based on local knowledge and hotel practices. Processes packages, faxes, messages, and mail which may be either outgoing or incoming in an accurate and timely manner.

Requirements

2 years of prior Concierge experience required.
US work authorization is required.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with hotel or condo/private residence operations a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Provide accurate information to residents in a courteous manner.
Fill all reasonable residents requests or requirements.
Anticipate residents needs and follow through in a timely manner.
Research for and put together a list of preferred service providers for resident recommendations, i.e. restaurants, Gourmet Shops, Travel Agencies, Limousine Services, Flowers, etc.
Take messages for in-house or arriving residents in accordance with procedures, with an emphasis on accuracy and proper follow-up.
Properly handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages and faxes.
Know what activities are available in the city, i.e. theater, the arts, special exhibits, concerts, shows, sports, leisure activities, sightseeing tours, etc. and to establish close contacts with people in these areas to provide Information, ticketing, reservations, etc. for residents.
Recite all hotel services, hours of operation, key personnel, hotel policies, etc.
Keep the senior management well informed of any residents problems or complaints, and action taken.
Maintain the Concierge Desk and storage areas in an orderly manner.
Direct page and door staff in the maintenance of the front entrance and lobby.
