About The Position

The Residential Concierge assists in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc. Responds to all residents' requests in an accurate and timely manner making recommendations based on local knowledge and hotel practices. Processes packages, faxes, messages, and mail which may be either outgoing or incoming in an accurate and timely manner.

Requirements

2 years of prior Concierge experience required.
US work authorization is required.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with hotel or condo/private residence operations is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Provide accurate information to residents in a courteous manner.
Fulfill all reasonable residents requests or requirements.
Anticipate residents needs and follow through in a timely manner.
Research and compile a list of preferred service providers for resident recommendations (e.g., restaurants, gourmet shops, travel agencies, limousine services, florists).
Take messages for in-house or arriving residents in accordance with procedures, with an emphasis on accuracy and proper follow-up.
Properly handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and faxes.
Maintain knowledge of city activities (e.g., theater, arts, special exhibits, concerts, shows, sports, leisure activities, sightseeing tours) and establish contacts in these areas to provide information, ticketing, and reservations for residents.
Recite all hotel services, hours of operation, key personnel, and hotel policies.
Keep senior management informed of any residents' problems or complaints and the action taken.
Maintain the Concierge Desk and storage areas in an orderly manner.
Direct page and door staff in the maintenance of the front entrance and lobby.
