The office handles customer acquisition, estimating, scheduling, and invoicing so the carpenter can focus on craftsmanship. The role involves a variety of residential carpentry and remodeling projects, with compensation based on experience and opportunities to grow with the company. Candidates should confidently take on work within their skill set and communicate when additional support is needed.

Requirements

At least 5 years of professional carpentry or remodeling experience.
Ability to independently complete residential projects.
Strong understanding of construction methods and materials.
Quality workmanship and attention to detail.
Professional communication with homeowners.
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
Ability to use a smartphone for schedules, job notes, and photos.

Responsibilities

Independently complete residential carpentry and remodeling projects within the candidate’s skill set.
Perform projects such as finish carpentry, trim, doors, windows, decks, framing, custom built-ins, shelving, cabinetry, siding, fascia, exterior wood repairs, flooring, and general home improvements.
Complete bathroom and kitchen remodeling work.
Communicate professionally with homeowners.
Use a smartphone for schedules, job notes, and photos.
Communicate when additional support is needed.
