About The Position
The Norfolk Companies is hiring an experienced Remodeling Carpenter for its residential construction team. This is a full-time, year-round position paying $30–$38 per hour based on experience, with a $1,500 sign-on bonus. The role involves residential remodeling, carpentry, cabinetry, trim, and finish work at residential jobsites.
Requirements
- Professional carpentry or residential remodeling experience.
- Strong finish carpentry and general carpentry skills.
- Ability to read construction drawings and work independently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to residential jobsites.
- Commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Perform residential remodeling and carpentry projects.
- Install cabinetry, trim, and finish carpentry components.
- Complete general carpentry and renovation work.
- Read and interpret plans, measurements, and installation drawings.
- Ensure quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
- Troubleshoot jobsite challenges and find practical solutions.
- Coordinate with project managers, team members, and homeowners.
- Maintain a clean and safe jobsite.
