About The Position

At Springboard Automation, we don’t just install gear; we orchestrate environments. We are looking for an experienced technician & programmer who lives and breathes Lutron HomeWorks and understands how lighting, shading, and AV come together to create a world-class home. This isn’t a role for someone who just wants to "pull wire." This is for the technician who enjoys the challenge of commissioning a complex system and ensuring that when the client touches "Evening Scene," the home responds seamlessly.

Requirements

• 2+ years programming and installing residential AV systems in private homes
• Solid experience with Lutron HomeWorks systems required
• Experience with Savant preferred
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals
• Ability to think holistically across lighting, AV, and control platforms
• Clean wiring and rack-building skills
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and climb ladders
• Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Program and commission Lutron lighting and shading systems
• Configure and support control systems like Savant
• Test, optimize, and finalize complete home systems
• Troubleshoot complex system interactions on-site and remotely
• Work inside finished luxury homes where precision matters
• Ad hoc projects as needed
