AV Technician & Lutron Programmer

About The Position
This role involves hands-on work in the field, focusing on the installation, setup, and programming of audio-visual and automation systems. The technician will be responsible for pulling and terminating low-voltage cabling, mounting devices, building equipment racks, and performing advanced setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of devices and networks. A significant part of the role includes programming control systems, particularly Lutron Homeworks, and potentially others like Crestron, C4, or Savant.
Requirements
- Experience on construction sites
- Ability to climb ladders, pull cabling, use power tools & hand tools
- A steady work history (3yrs between hops)
- Pleasant disposition, High EQ
- Lutron Homeworks Certified or Equivalent (Crestron/C4 Panelized Lighting Experience)
- Control System Programming - Savant (preferred), C4, Crestron
Responsibilities
- Pull/Terminate/Test Low-Voltage Cabling (Category, Fiber, Speaker, Lutron, Crestron)
- Mount devices at the ends of those wires
- Build and lace equipment racks
- Advanced setup and configuration of devices
- Advanced understanding of networks
- Advanced troubleshooting of devices
- Programming (Lutron/C4/Savant/Crestron)
