The Security Technician installs and services security systems at customer job sites, activates systems for monitoring, and ensures client satisfaction from first install through ongoing support. This role requires the ability to troubleshoot all aspects of security and surveillance systems and to represent Bravas professionally in high-profile, high-demand client homes. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to pass a criminal background check.
  • Basic computer skills with the ability to become competent in in-house job management software.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across security and surveillance systems.
  • Customer service skills, including the ability to work with high-profile and high-demand customers.
  • Guardianship and preservation of client confidentiality and network/home security.
  • Adherence to state and federal laws, including traffic laws.

  • Security license or relevant experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Processes incoming service requests and determines urgency.
  • Customizes systems for connectivity and follows city/state requirements for alarms and security plans.
  • Remotely accesses customer systems and repairs network-based solutions.
  • Sets up remote monitoring systems and enrolls customers in service or monitoring plans.
  • Works with the Service Manager and others to track and eliminate recurring issues.
  • Coordinates with manufacturer Tech Support and advanced replacements as needed.
  • Supports small projects involving upsell and replacement sales.
  • Determines and collects billable labor and materials as applicable.
  • Coordinates with buyers to ensure accurate procurement of required parts.
  • Sets accurate completion deadlines and expectations for clients.
  • Sets up, configures, programs, and troubleshoots networks, control systems, cameras, and NVRs.
  • Reviews, reacts to, and updates daily work orders in job management software.
  • Maintains accurate time clock entries and job costing.
  • Provides client training and delivers a high standard of customer service.
  • Participates in the on-call rotation, as required.
  • Travels locally to job sites as required.
  • Maintains fiscal responsibility for all assets assigned and property within the Technician's care.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
