About The Position
Join our team and help create life-changing experiences for clients ages 7-40 with developmental disabilities. The King's Daughters' School promotes independence through educational, residential and community services for individuals with developmental disabilities, continuing a 100-year legacy of service. Our Vision: The King’s Daughters’ School will improve the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities through caring, goal-oriented service delivered by dedicated staff in a safe, warm learning environment.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license required
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Able to pass drug screen and background checks (no felonies, no abuse, assault, or neglect convictions)
- Dependable- a consistent routine is important for our clients.
Nice To Haves
- Some background in developmental disabilities is preferred, but willing to train the right person.
Responsibilities
- Caring for clients with intellectual disabilities and autism
- Assisting clients with daily living skills
- Ensuring that clients are participating in planned activities
