Requirements

• Minimum of one year experience in a Real Estate, Loan Operations or Banking.
• Excellent organizational, time management and written/verbal communication skills are required.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word is also necessary.
• Incisive qualitative and quantitative analytical ability and familiarity of the residential lending process are essential.

Nice To Haves

• A college degree in Finance or General Business is preferred.
• Employee would be eligible to pursue licensure as a State Certified Appraiser.

Responsibilities

• Receiving appraisal requests from account officers or support staff
• Selecting the appropriate appraiser for the assignment and forwarding the appraisal engagement to the appraiser
• Monitoring the performance of the appraiser to ensure timely completion of the assignment
• Reviewing completed appraisal reports to evaluate their reliability and compliance with regulatory requirements
• Forwarding completed appraisal reports and reviews to the lending officer
• Maintaining a database of property information to support the production of reliable internal property evaluations
• Completing other special projects related to the real estate appraisal function
• Actively participate in the Customer Service First sales and service culture, support the values of the organization and follow established Bank policies and procedures
