About The Position

Install, maintain and repair equipment and systems for residential and commercial properties. Diagnose issues, perform preventative maintenance, and provide clear documentation and customer communication.

Requirements

Secondary school diploma or equivalent; trade certificate or apprenticeship training is an asset.
Previous experience in installation, servicing, or a related mechanical/electrical trade.
Ability to read technical drawings, manuals and installation guidelines.
Physical ability to lift equipment and work in varied environments, including heights or confined spaces as required.
Basic computer skills for managing work orders, diagnostics and reporting.
Demonstrated commitment to following health and safety procedures and workplace policies.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret installation instructions, technical drawings and specifications to plan work.
Install, assemble and calibrate equipment, systems and components according to manufacturer guidelines and codes.
Inspect, test and troubleshoot systems to identify malfunctions and carry out repairs or replacements.
Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled servicing to ensure reliability and safety.
Maintain tools, equipment and parts inventory; prepare accurate job records, service reports and invoices.
Communicate with clients on-site to explain work performed, provide usage instructions, and address concerns.
