This Residential Aide position is part of the Women's Rise program in New Haven, a residential work release program that offers case management, job readiness, and substance and mental health education to adult females under the supervision of the DOC. The role involves utilizing a strengths-based and client-centered approach to provide structure and supervision to justice-involved women as they re-enter the community after incarceration. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals in recovery, those who are justice-involved, or have a client/customer support background, and be highly motivated to help others make positive changes. A balance of structure and compassion, while maintaining professional boundaries, is essential. The Residential Aide will work within Adult Services and collaborate with Community Justice program staff to rehabilitate, educate, and guide clients back into the community.
