About The Position

Recovering Hope Treatment Center is seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join their team as a Residential Advocate. This part-time role, up to 16 hours per week, focuses on helping women and families overcome substance use disorders. The position offers comprehensive training, making experience unnecessary. The core of the role involves providing emotional support, overseeing recovery activities, and creating a safe and nurturing environment for clients.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license
• Comfortable with computers and basic tech
• Ability to frequently communicate verbally and in writing.
• Ability to frequently reach above shoulder height.
• Ability to frequently complete repetitive tasks.
• Ability to sit, stand or walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. from floor to waist height.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate recovery activities and support clients with daily living tasks.
• Engage with clients, their children, and families with compassion.
• Conduct room checks, transport clients, and maintain building security.
• Keep client records updated and handle essential administrative tasks.
• Assist with intake, discharge, and visiting hours.
