About The Position
Recovering Hope Treatment Center is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Residential Advocate to join their team in Mora, MN. This part-time role focuses on supporting women and families in their recovery from substance use disorders. The position offers comprehensive training, making experience unnecessary. The Residential Advocate plays a crucial role in creating a safe and nurturing environment by providing emotional support, overseeing recovery activities, and assisting clients with daily living tasks. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Comfortable with computers and basic tech
- Ability to frequently communicate with employees, parents, clients and other individuals.
- Ability to frequently reach above shoulder height to reach necessary items, including supplies, medications, etc.
- Ability to frequently complete repetitive tasks.
- Ability to sit, stand or walk for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. from floor to waist height.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate recovery activities and support clients with daily living tasks.
- Engage with clients, their children, and families with compassion.
- Conduct room checks, transport clients, and maintain building security.
- Keep client records updated and handle essential administrative tasks.
- Assist with intake, discharge, and visiting hours.
