Residential Advocate (PT) – 7am–3pm
About The Position
Recovering Hope Treatment Center is seeking a passionate and dedicated Part-Time Residential Advocate to join their team in Mora, MN. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about helping women and families overcome substance use disorders and want to work in an environment where they can make a real difference. The center provides all necessary training, so no prior experience is needed. The Residential Advocate will play a key role in creating a safe and nurturing space for clients by offering emotional support, overseeing recovery activities, and assisting with daily living tasks. This position is more than just a job; it's an opportunity to be part of a life-changing purpose.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Comfortable with computers and basic tech
- Ability to frequently communicate with employees, parents, clients and other individuals with key relationships, receiving and providing accurate information in writing or verbally.
- Ability to frequently reach above shoulder height to reach necessary items, including supplies, medications, etc.
- Ability to frequently complete repetitive tasks.
- Ability to sit, stand or walk for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. from floor to waist height.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate recovery activities and support clients with daily living tasks.
- Engage with clients, their children, and families with compassion.
- Conduct room checks, transport clients, and maintain building security.
- Keep client records updated and handle essential administrative tasks.
- Assist with intake, discharge, and visiting hours.
