About The Position

Recovering Hope Treatment Center is seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join their team as a Residential Advocate. This part-time position, 24 hours per week, offers a unique opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of women and families battling substance use disorders. The role involves providing emotional support, overseeing recovery activities, and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for clients. No prior experience is necessary, as comprehensive training will be provided. The ideal candidate will possess compassion, dedication, and a strong desire to positively impact lives.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver's license
  • Comfortable with computers and basic tech
  • Frequently communicate with employees, parents, clients and other individuals with key relationships. This requires receiving and providing accurate information in writing or verbally, in these situations.
  • Frequently reach above shoulder height to reach necessary items, including supplies, medications, etc.
  • Frequently complete repetitive tasks.
  • Sit, stand or walk for extended periods of time.
  • Lift up to 60 lbs. from floor to waist height.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate recovery activities and support clients with daily living tasks.
  • Engage with clients, their children, and families with compassion.
  • Conduct room checks, transport clients, and maintain building security.
  • Keep client records updated and handle essential administrative tasks.
  • Assist with intake, discharge, and visiting hours.
