About The Position
The Residential Advisor monitors progress and provides developmental guidance to residents participating in residential treatment programs. This position assists residents in adapting and learning new social, emotional and intellectual behaviors as part of a medically prescribed psychosocial treatment plan. This position also manages the therapeutic milieu, to assure the safety and well-being of the residents, families, and caregivers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Service, Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, or related allied health field
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) - American Heart Association (Required within 30 days of hire)

- 1 year Social Services work experience
Responsibilities
- Participate in teamwork, cooperation, quality assessment and evaluation.
- Assist with patient, family, staff education.
- Utilize therapeutic interventions and demonstrate clinical competence.
