About The Position

The Residential Advisor (RA) of Recovery Housing supports a safe, sober, and structured living environment. The RA acts as a peer leader and role model, fostering a community of accountability, respect, and encouragement among residents. Through guidance, supervision, and adherence to house policies, the RA assists residents in maintaining their recovery goals, building life skills, and navigating challenges in early sobriety. The RA also helps with conflict resolution, ensures compliance with house rules, and serves as a liaison between residents and staff to promote overall program success. This role involves monitoring and supporting the independent living activities of residents in Recovery Housing, working closely with Recovery Housing Managers and Coordinators.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of sobriety
• High school diploma or GED
• Extended sobriety required
• CPR/First aid certification
• Lived experience in recovery, with an extended period of sobriety
• Valid and clean driving record
• Current auto insurance

Nice To Haves

• Peer support or case management experience
• Sober living or recovery housing experience
• Customer service experience
• Group facilitation experience
• 2 years of Recovery Housing experience
