About The Position

This position operates out of our Charlotte, NC office with a 5-day in office schedule. The role involves collaborating with Asset Management on pending and completed move-outs, accurately completing SODAs with charges, detailed descriptions, and photos, and completing ledger charges in CRM. The specialist will also coordinate with Accounting on applicable checks/mailings, receive and resolve move-out disputes, and be responsible for surety bond claims and approvals. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of Company policies and procedures, and a high degree of customer service and competency in all resident interactions (phone, email, written communication) are key. The role also requires working collaboratively with team members and performing other activities as assigned by the manager.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
  • One (1) to two (2) years of sales and customer service-related experience preferred
  • Ability to manage confidential information in a professional manner
  • Solid working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite including Excel, Word and Outlook is required
  • Impeccable detail orientation, with excellent organization skills
  • Good time-management, able to consistently meet goals and deadlines without sacrificing quality
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced work environment
  • Proactive, self-directed, and highly motivated

Nice To Haves

  • Real Estate license is not required, though is desirable

Responsibilities

  • Confirm resident’s move-out date and forwarding address
  • Collaborate with Asset Management on pending and completed move-outs
  • Accurately complete SODAs with charges, detailed descriptions, and photos
  • Complete ledger charges in CRM
  • Coordinate with Accounting on applicable checks / mailings
  • Receive and resolve move-out disputes
  • Responsible for surety bond claims and approvals
  • Maintains up to date knowledge of Company policies and procedures
  • Responsible for maintaining a high degree of customer service and competency level in all prospect and resident interactions, whether over the phone or email, or through formal written communication
  • Work collaboratively with team members
  • Other activities as assigned by the manager
