About The Position

SRG Residential is seeking an experienced customer service professional to work at Oak Creek, a 759-unit community in Palo Alto, California. The Resident Services Coordinator provides welcoming, personalized service to prospects, visitors, and residents; supports resident engagement and satisfaction; communicates community information; and organizes resident events and activities. The role requires independent work and may involve weekends and overtime as job requires. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background screen and drug test.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of excellent customer service experience.
• Ability to pass a fair housing exam.
• Relevant experience; experience with file audits, customer service, and resident engagement is required.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
• Knowledge of property-level operations software.
• Proficiency with Outlook, Internet software, Excel, and Word.
• Current driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Ability to work weekends and overtime as the job requires.

• Experience with high-usage parcel rooms.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospects, guests, and visitors as they arrive at the community.
• Provide a personalized experience emphasizing care and convenience for current and prospective residents.
• Engage with residents and maintain positive relationships while confirming their expectations are being met.
• Respond to resident complaints and concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring situations are resolved to residents’ satisfaction.
• Communicate community happenings to residents daily, weekly, or monthly through the computer portal and postings.
• Plan, promote, and deliver resident events and activities that provide value beyond residents’ apartment homes.
• Identify, communicate, and implement opportunities to improve resident happiness and service.
