About The Position

Schochet is seeking a full-time Resident Services Coordinator to join our team at Seabury Heights in Worcester, MA. This role is ideal for someone passionate about connecting older adults in affordable housing to services, building community partnerships, and creating engaging programs. Schochet is a real estate development and management company focused on providing enriched housing and strong resident support services. The Resident Services Coordinator is a key member of the Property Management team, collaborating with staff, residents, volunteers, and community partners to enhance residents' quality of life.

Requirements

BS in Social Work or 2-3 years of experience in social services delivery with older adults.
Valid driver's license and own transportation.
Ability to travel between properties, attend meetings, and conferences as needed.
Pre-employment background screening and drug testing are required.

Responsibilities

Connect residents to services, resources, and support through assessments, education, referrals, and ongoing monitoring.
Address service topics such as resources for aging in place, rental assistance, benefits and entitlements, food assistance, and mental health.
Establish onsite wellness programs and events by building relationships with community partners and utilizing a programming budget.
Organize celebrations to prevent isolation and build community, and host lectures on health topics and general wellbeing, including fraud prevention and computer classes.
Advocate, organize, and problem-solve to achieve positive outcomes for residents.
Establish relationships with community agencies and service providers to offer direct services to residents.
