About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and energetic Resident Services Assistant to join our team at Parkway in Blue Springs, MO. This full-time position involves enriching the lives of seniors by assisting in and maintaining a quality activities program, ensuring resident engagement and satisfaction through first-class service, and leading by example in promoting enthusiasm for events and programming. Requirements

At least eighteen (18) years of age.
Previous experience in conducting group activities and senior housing.
Knowledge of the requirements for providing care and supervision appropriate to the residents.
Clear verbal and written communication skills.
Able to follow written and verbal directions and apply practical solving skills if needed.
Positive and energetic attitude.
Professional in appearance and conduct.
Demonstrated skills, knowledge, and competency in leadership and supervision, including time management and organization, as well as the ability to represent and promote activities and programs.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Criminally cleared.
In good health and physically and mentally capable of performing assigned tasks. Good physical health shall be verified by a health screening performed by a physician not more than six (6) months prior to or seven (7) days following employment. Must test free from pulmonary tuberculosis at time of health screening.
Active position requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping most of the day. Sedentary periods of one to three hours are also required. Ability to retrieve items from storage, including overhead bins or cabinets.
Clean driving record as per the insured’s policy.
Possess and maintain the specific state-required chauffeur class license.

Know each resident, their likes and dislikes, and ensure their engagement and satisfaction every day through compassionate, first-class service.
Arrange, manage, and carry out the transfer of enthusiasm for Resident Services events and programming.
