About The Position
This position is responsible for accepting and processing clients into the lodge/shelter facility and monitoring the activity of guests on an assigned shift ensuring safety, security, and policy compliance.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- One year experience performing security or social service work preferred OR Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Requires a level 2 background screening.
Responsibilities
- Greets shelter guests and completes intakes as needed.
- Answers phone and provides callers applicable information.
- Monitors facility for safety and compliance and interacts with shelter guests in an appropriate manner.
- Inputs data into the Client Information System (Clarity).
- Ensures that the lodge/shelter is maintained in a neat and proper order.
- Assist with laundry duties as assigned.
