About The Position

DeCoach Recovery Centre is seeking a Resident Monitor in Cincinnati, Ohio. The role helps create a safe, secure, and structured environment where clients can focus on recovery. As a non-clinical resource, the Resident Monitor listens to clients, answers everyday questions, and provides crisis intervention when needed. The position also supports facility operations, front-office tasks, client transportation, groups and activities, documentation, and coordination with colleagues. The scheduled hours are Monday through Friday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Requirements

Be at least 21 years old.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Have an active Ohio driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Commit to client confidentiality and professional boundaries with clients and co-workers.
Demonstrate reliable follow-through on documentation, policies, and procedures.
Believe in the organization’s mission, vision, and values, and want to support a positive, pro-social, drug-free environment.

Responsibilities

Provide a safe, secure, and structured environment for clients.
Listen actively, answer clients’ everyday questions, and provide crisis intervention when needed.
Maintain accurate written records and provide written or verbal reports on client activity and behavior.
Facilitate required groups and structured activities.
Handle facility maintenance needs or report issues to the Supervisor.
Review client charts, answer phones, greet guests, and handle copying and filing.
Transport clients to offsite meetings and activities as needed.
Participate in a 30-minute shift change, including a verbal shift report and key handoff.
Attend monthly individual supervision and all required training.
Perform other duties as requested.
