About The Position

DeCoach Recovery is seeking compassionate and reliable individuals to join our team as Resident Monitors. In this role, you will provide a steady, supportive, and non-clinical presence for clients undergoing treatment for substance use disorders. You will help create and maintain a safe, structured environment, offering crisis intervention, active listening, and assistance with day-to-day questions. This position does not require a clinical degree, but a genuine desire to help people heal is essential. You will also be responsible for documenting client activity, facilitating groups, assisting with administrative tasks, transporting clients, and performing light facilities upkeep. A smooth 30-minute shift change with reporting is part of the daily routine, along with participation in monthly supervision and ongoing training.

Requirements

At least 21 years old
High school diploma or equivalent
A valid driver's license and clean driving record
A commitment to client confidentiality and professional boundaries
A calm, dependable presence — someone clients can trust
Belief in a pro-social, drug-free path to recovery

Nice To Haves

No experience in behavioral health is required, but a good heart and head for this work are essential.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain a safe, secure, and structured environment for clients

Document client activity and behavior accurately
Facilitate groups and structured activities
Help with administrative tasks (chart reviews, phones, greeting guests, filing)
Transport clients to offsite meetings and activities as needed
Handle light facilities upkeep and flag maintenance issues
Give and receive shift reports during a smooth 30-minute shift change
Participate in monthly supervision and ongoing training
