We are urgently hiring an Resident Manager to oversee resident relations, manage operations, and ensure a smooth living environment for the community. As the Resident Manager, you will be responsible for handling rent collections, processing tenant applications, managing emergencies, and maintaining the overall condition of the property. You will work closely with residents and staff to ensure a high level of service, compliance, and satisfaction.

Requirements

Excellent organization skills, communication, and aptitude for detailed work
Experience overcoming marketing challenges
Proficient in Yardi, Work, Excel, and Outlook
Experience in supervising office and maintenance staff
High level of professionalism
Ability to communicate (written and verbal)
Strong work ethics
Complete background check

Responsibilities

Handle rent collections and delinquent accounts
Manage Move In and Move Out procedures
Handle 3-day notices
Complete eviction proceedings, when necessary
Provide customer service
Monitor and enforce all safety procedures
Attend various community functions
Respond to on-call emergencies including maintenance emergencies, earthquake emergencies, and noise/lease violations
Call security/police if necessary
Complete incident reports
Market the development to prospective residents
Process rental applications and re-certifications in compliance with regulations and other project program requirements
Coordinate unit turns/rent ready units
Assist in the mediation of tenant disputes and conflicts
Collect and deposit rent receipts
Oversee the overall condition of the development and coordinate maintenance
