Resident Manager III/General Manager with 2-bedroom unit (Markham Plaza I & II-1239,1310)
About The Position
This position is for a full-time Resident Manager III/General Manager with a 2-bedroom unit to work at Markham Plaza I & II, a 305-unit affordable family housing community in San Jose, CA. This is a PSH/TCAC property. Qualified candidates will have previous experience managing affordable housing programs, working with Santa Clara Office of Supportive Housing and experience with 3rd Party management. As well as supervise a team of on-site employees. Must have a current Real Estate License or be able to obtain one within 9 months of hire. Yardi Voyager experience a plus. The Resident Manager III/General Manager/Assistant Property Supervisor is directly responsible for managing the site to ensure effective fiscal, physical and social soundness. The Resident Manager oversees the day to day operations of the property including administrative, facilities and marketing.
Requirements
- 3+ Years of Affordable Housing Property Management Experience at a 300+ unit property
- Strong Supervisory Experience
- Knowledge of HUD, TCAC, DFEH and ADA Guidelines
- Ability to Develop and Implement Budgets and Variance Reports
- Skills in Resident Problem Solving and Staff Management
- Must have a current Real Estate License or be able to obtain within 9 months of hire

Responsibilities
- Complies with HUD, TCAC or other regulations
- Oversees Compliance Department to ensure Leasing and Re-certification compliance
- Supervises on-site Staff, all programs and departments of a 300+ unit property
- Processes Evictions, Conducts Annual Inspections and Oversee all Repairs
- For HUD Properties, submits Vouchers
