About The Position

French & Parrello Associates (FPA) is seeking a Resident Inspector for their Construction Engineering Department in Wall or Camden, NJ. This role involves performing construction inspection on New Jersey based bridge and roadway projects, assisting in the review of cost estimates and project submittments, coordinating with Project Managers, and ensuring daily contractor operations are in accordance with Contract Documents. The position also requires travel to project sites when needed and maintaining organized and up-to-date project files.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited Civil Engineering school required.
Professional Engineering (PE) License or valid NICET Certification required.
Experience performing construction inspection.
Minimum of four (4) years of experience with construction projects.
Ability to pass a TWIC Background Check

Responsibilities

Perform construction inspection on New Jersey based bridge and roadway projects.
Assist in the review of Cost Estimates and project submittals.
Coordinate with Project Managers
Travel to projects sites when required.
Ensure daily contractor operations are in accordance with Contract Documents
Keep organized and up to date project files.
