About The Position

The Resident Engineer will function as the technical liaison between the customer and AEES/PKC Group’s support personnel. This role is responsible for ensuring technical information gaps are addressed and deliverables are provided to the customer on-time. The Resident Engineer will facilitate customer information flow regarding financial, delivery, and quality issues, as well as purchasing-initiated information requests that affect customer satisfaction. Additionally, this role involves representing AEES/PKC in quality-related meetings at the customer location and participating in periodic meetings with manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams on program status and/or quality performance. The position also provides information and support for managing current and future sales negotiations, including program target setting, objective setting, and final price settlements to meet business objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or equivalent experience in related field.
  • Minimum of five years experience with account/project management.
  • Minimum 5 years people leadership experience.
  • Print and Schematic Knowledge
  • Must be able to complete tasks in Desk Top Publishing Print Generation
  • Familiarity with EDS engineering, CAD, and print management
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and have advanced-level skills with Excel
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Excellent written, oral and group presentation skills
  • Able to manage stressful situations and deadline pressures
  • Project Management - Plans and executes responsibilities with minimal direction
  • Design Change Control Systems Knowledge

Nice To Haves

  • Prefer eight years of electrical distribution experience.
  • Prefer eight years of automotive EDS experience.
  • Prefer previous role with key OEM/Tier 1 in CV or SPG.
