Resident Director - Culver Military Academy
About The Position
The CMA Resident Director lives in a private apartment located in the boys barracks. The Resident Director works with the counselor and Military Mentor to ensure the boys' well-being in their barracks. They also have the primary responsibility for overnight supervision of the students in the barracks. The Resident Director aids the counselor in assignment, oversight, and mentoring of student leaders and serves as co-advisor to the barracks committee. They are accountable for ensuring necessary documentation is obtained for student permits and leaves, observing wardrobe regulations, and maintaining proper study conditions. The Resident Director is also responsible for their assigned barracks' condition, security, and safety.
Requirements
- Caring, mature, and enjoy interacting with high school-age students.
- High School Diploma.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong verbal and writing abilities to communicate with Academy staff, students, and parents.
- Willing and able to live in a private apartment in the boys' barracks.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the boys' well-being in their barracks.
