About The Position

This role provides secretarial and administrative support to the resident program director, department chair, and administrative director. It involves managing time and attendance, quality improvement tasks, and general administrative duties for the resident program.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year experience performing basic office procedures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

  • Responds to inquiries about the resident program, mails out program information, and accepts/processes candidate information for the program director.
  • Assists in preparing accreditation survey documents for the resident program, providing required statistics and records.
  • Maintains records of clinical rotations and work hours for residents.
  • Schedules interviews with potential resident candidates and ensures all documentation is complete.
  • Prepares and distributes on-call schedules and other assignments for residents.
  • Prepares and maintains department time and attendance records accurately and timely.
  • Handles special assignments and projects as needed for the Residency Program.
  • Prepares and maintains quality improvement reports accurately and timely.
  • Makes arrangements for resident meetings and conferences and records meeting minutes.
  • Provides secretarial support for the program director and department chair.
