About The Position

The Associate Chaplain is responsible for Christian ministry to the spiritual, emotional, and relational health needs of all patients, families, and staff regardless of age, race, gender, ethnicity, or religious preference. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited college or university.
• One quarter of certified Clinical Pastoral Education through ACPE, Inc., or NACC.
• Active congregational ministry experience.
• Ecclesiastical endorsement or recommendation by local faith congregation.

Nice To Haves

• Master of Divinity degree from an accredited theological school.
• One year residency from an accredited ACPE center.
• Clinical pastoral experience of two (2) years.
• Certification by the Association of Professional Chaplains or its affiliate cognate group.
• Ecclesiastical endorsement by faith group.
• Ordained by faith group.
