About The Position

The Resident Care Manager directs, coordinates, and supervises care services provided by care associates for the senior residents. Responsible for ensuring exemplary service is delivered with integrity, dignity, and compassion. May be responsible for medication control and coordination with physicians to ensure care and medications are delivered as directed. Responsible for the delivery of high-quality care by encouraging independence and ensuring each resident’s physical, social, cultural, and intellectual well-being.

Requirements

Registered Nurse (RN) OR Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
One to three years’ experience working in senior care
High school graduate required
Must have or be able to obtain the appropriate State license required by law if required
CPR Certified preferred
Basic competency in the use of multiple forms of technology, including Microsoft Office applications, internet-based and custom
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed

Nice To Haves

Leadership experience is strongly preferred
Previous supervisory experience preferred
college course work preferred
CPR Certified preferred

Responsibilities

Monitoring and evaluating assigned residents and regularly assess levels of care, whenever there is a change in condition and/or to determine whether a resident is no longer appropriate for the setting, notifying Assistant Living Director as required
Assisting residents with simple requests as needed or finding appropriate associate to assist
Effectively supervising departmental operations as directed on a day-to-day basis under the guidance of the department director or Executive Director
Responding in a tactful and timely manner to all residents, family members and/or staff
Supervising resident medication programs
Monitoring all physician orders and ensures they have been followed timely and accurately
Assisting with scheduling for Care associates
Performing other related duties as required
